Ward off winter respiratory issues

One of the best ways to keep respiratory issues at bay is using eucalyptus oil to help remove microorganisms that can make you feel yucky. Eucalyptus oil is antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and a natural decongestant. A few drops of oil added to your bath or the floor of your shower out of the water stream will naturally open your sinuses and act as an expectorant. Here are some other uses for eucalyptus oil according to Dr. Axe (https://draxe.com/eucalyptus-oil-uses-benefits/):

  • Hair Nourishment A few drops of eucalyptus oil with some coconut or olive oil gives your hair a nice moisturizing pick-me-up.

  • Natural Home Care  Add several drops to your household cleaners such as laundry detergent, mop water, toilet cleaner, window cleaner … the list goes on!

  • Odor Remover  Whether you’re battling smelly shoes or a stinky dog bed, topically wash items to remove odors with a wet rag soaked in eucalyptus oil-infused water and allow to dry naturally.

  • Wound Treatment Eucalyptus oil has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties that are effective at treating wounds, burns, cuts, abrasions, sores and scrapes. It also can be made into a salve or healing ointment and put on bug bites and stings.

The list goes on and on for the beneficial uses of this incredible oil from the evergreen tree native to Australia.
